SGPC member complains against SAD leader

Amid infighting among Akali leaders over ticket distribution for Block Samiti and Zila Parishad elections, local SGPC member Jarnail Singh Dogranwala has got a complaint registered against a local SAD leader and former block Samiti chairman alleging that the latter along with another leader thrashed him and his turban had fallen off. He alleged that even his beard was pulled. The incident took place outside the office of former MLA Sarabjit Singh Makkar, who contested the last elections from Kapurthala, and is the constituency in charge. While the case was registered late evening, supporters of Ranjit Singh Khojewal, who has been booked on Dograwala's complaint, protested outside office of the SSP after which SSP ordered an inquiry. Khojewal alleged that Dogranwala had got a fake case registered against him to settle political scores.

Britain's most famous aristocratic supermodel Stella Tennant has died at the age of 50, just months after splitting from her husband. A 15-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly penetrating two 12-year-olds and possessing child pornography of the preteen girls.  The boy appeared before Kalgoorlie Children's Court on Thursday after allegedly filming a sex act in the town of Goldfields in Kalgoorie, Western Australia, in October last year.
