100-game suspension

100-game suspension, On Friday, it was determined that a 100-game suspension for Cesar Carrillo would be the punishment for his name cropping up in the Biogenesis scandal. Biogenesis is an anti-aging clinic, and Major League Baseball is currently investigating the clinic’s involvement in supplying performance enhancing drugs to players in the league. Cesar Carrillo is currently a pitcher who plays for the Detroit Tigers. Carrillo was hit by the league for allegedly violating the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. The penalty not only carries a steep 100-game suspension (in Major League Baseball, there are only 162 games), but Cesar will also be suspended without pay. The MLB is battling hard to climb outside a dark shadow full of rumored players to have taken performance enhancing drugs.
