Biden denies his new administration will be a 'third Obama term' claims he won't use the DOJ to investigate Trump and admits he hasn't spoken to the president since the election - in first interview since victory

President-elect Joe Biden has given a wide-ranging interview with NBC News, insisting his presidency will not be 'a third Obama term' and suggesting he will not pursue criminal investigations into President Donald Trump once he takes office. Speaking to NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt in Wilmington, Delaware on Tuesday, Biden also revealed that he has not spoken to President Donald Trump directly since the election. One day after a federal agency released a letter authorizing the transition to move forward, Biden described the Trump administration's transition efforts as 'sincere'. 'Immediately, we've gotten outreach from the national security shop to just across the board,' Biden said. 'And they're already working out my ability to get presidential daily briefs... so I think we're gonna not be so far behind the curve as we thought might be in the past.'  President-elect Joe Biden has given a wide-ranging interview with NBC News, insi

Donald Trump 'is planning to pardon his disgraced national security adviser Michael Flynn'

Donald Trump is planning to pardon his disgraced national security adviser Michael Flynn, Axios reported Tuesday.   Flynn twice pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about dealings with Russia's ambassador before Trump took office but has yet to be sentenced.  He sought to withdraw the guilty plea in January, arguing that prosecutors violated his rights and duped him into a plea agreement. The president is said to have told confidants he plans to pardon Flynn, and others, before he leaves office. Sources told CNN Trump could yet change his mind.     Donald Trump is planning to pardon his disgraced national security adviser Michael Flynn, Axios reported Tuesday. Scott Morrison says Aussies who refuse to take Covid-19 vaccine could be forced into a two-week quarantine when they enter the country

Scott Morrison has revealed Australians who refuse to get a Covid-19 vaccine could be forced to quarantine for two weeks when they enter the country unless they have a 'genuine medical reason' not to get the jab.  The prime minister has previously said a vaccine, which is expected to roll out in March, will be optional but the government will find ways to encourage people to take it.  Qantas boss Alan Joyce sparked anger from anti-vaxxers and vaccine skeptics on Sunday when he said  his airline may ban people who have not taken the jab from international flights. Fired Trump lawyer Sidney Powell pleads for cash as she promises she REALLY will release the Kraken on Wednesday by suing Georgia officials over voting machines and 'foreign intrusion'

The conspiracy theory-obsessed lawyer who claimed that Donald Trump was cheated out of the election by a Communist plot, is cashing in with a fundraising vehicle that's supposed to be for organizations like volunteer fire companies. Sidney Powell, whose outlandish theory earned a rebuke from the President, has founded a 'legal defense fund' under the Internal Revenue Service category 501(4). The IRS says that 501(4) should normally apply to 'social welfare organizations' and community groups like homeowners associations. It can be used for lobbying activities but the deductions are not tax deductible like those for nonprofits. The website for The Legal Defense fund says that 'millions of dollars must be raised to defend the Republic as these lawsuits continue to be filed to ensure victory' for Trump, even though he has now essentially admitted defeat to Joe Biden by allowing the transition to go ahead.  Powell surfaced Tuesday night on Fox Business Network&#
