'Sex slave' NYC priest, 57, who was accused of spending $1million of church funds to pay for his BDSM master died from chronic alcohol abuse, autopsy reveals
An autopsy has revealed that a 'sex slave' New York City priest who was accused of spending $1million of church money on a BDMS master whose urine he drank died of chronic alcohol abuse.
The Rev. Peter Miqueli, 57, was found dead in his New Jersey home in July, four years after he resigned from the church after being sued by parishioners.
They claimed he used $1million of church money to pay for his 'master' - Keith Crist - and that he also paid cash for his home with money stolen from them.
The lawsuit was not resolved but he was cleared of wrongdoing by The Bronx District Attorney’s Office.
He stepped down and was suspended by the Archdiocese of New York three years later.
On Tuesday, the New York Daily News revealed the results of his autopsy which show he died of 'arrhythmia due to occlusive coronary heart disease associated with severe cardiomyopath' which is often caused by excessive drinking.

Miqueli was even accused of using the funds to cover the cost of his $264,000 home in Brick, New Jersey, according to a lawsuit filed by his parishioners
The coroner's report also noted 'massive liver steatosis consistent with chronic alcohol abuse.'
The lawsuit alleged that Miqueli paid Crist $1,000-per-session for sexual exploits that involved him drinking the bodybuilder's urine, at times.
Filed in 2015, the civil suit also claimed that Miqueli used the cash he stole - some of which was from donations for an new pipe organ for the Bronx church where he worked - on vacations to Italy and Florida.
He is said to have paid Crist to go to his house in New Jersey for sessions.
In text messages to his ex-girlfriend, Crist called the priest a 'clueless a**hole' and said he was paying his rent.
He said he wanted to be publicly humiliated by him, laughed at and degraded.
It's unclear how the parishioners came to find out about their sordid relationship but they sued and he stepped down.
Even afterwards, the New York Post published claims that the two men were still seeing each other.
It's unclear if Miqueli was living with anyone when he died.
