Prosecutors submitted a filing to federal court in San Francisco on Monday alleging that Theranos executives destroyed data that proved their blood-testing product was inaccurate. Knowingly misleading investors by providing false data is a federal crime. The company knew about its inaccurate testing data that was collected over a period of three years, according to The Register. A 'traumatised' pet owner whose dog was horrifically injured by a Kmart crate has demanded the company stop selling them.  Lara Robertson woke up to the anguished yelps of her Cavoodle at 11.30pm Monday night in her Lake Macquarie home in New South Wales.  She walked out to find two-year-old Marley with a crate bar impaled through his mouth, and had to spend ten minutes removing the bar as her pup 'screamed'. The government of Quebec, Canada, has been keeping its residents on a metaphorical short leash when it comes to COVID restrictions, which has prompted a local woman to put her husband on a literal leash so that the pair could go outside during curfew.  But police in Sherbrooke, Quebec, quickly sniffed out the deception and fined the pair more than $1,200 each.   The bizarre incident took place at around 9pm on Saturday, about an hour into the curfew, on King Street East. Victoria has gone one week without a locally acquired coronavirus case after the New South Wales outbreak jumped the border. The state reported zero local infections and three in returned travellers in hotel quarantine on Wednesday after 17,908 tests were conducted.  There are currently 35 active cases across Victoria.  The latest data comes after more than 31,000 permits to enter Victoria were approved by the state government since the launch of its new 'traffic light' system on Monday evening. A MS-13 gang member wanted for murdering his ex-girlfriend in front of their daughter in California shot himself dead as cops swarmed in to arrest him in Texas.  Herbert Nixon Flores, 46, had been at large since last Wednesday after a surveillance camera captured the horrific moment he executed Karen Ruiz, 31, in the driveway of a home in Pacoima, California, where she was dropping off their three-year-old girl. The Irving Police Department said the FBI Fugitive Task Force from Los Angeles had pinned Flores' location to Arlington, where he was visiting family members.
