'He's a criminal': Lisa Wilkinson launches an EXTRAORDINARY attack on Donald Trump after deadly chaos in the U.S.

Lisa Wilkinson has launched an attack on Donald Trump - calling the U.S. president a 'criminal' after chaotic and violent riots in which his supporters stormed Capitol Hill in Washington DC.  While displaying footage of the Washington DC chaos showing 'democracy under siege', The Project host Ms Wilkinson addressed the show's viewers on Thursday night saying Trump was 'clearly unhinged'.  Trump has refused to concede his loss to Democratic President-elect Joe Biden following U.S. elections and urged his supporters multiple times to come to Washington for a rally on Wednesday - as the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate were to certify the results of the Electoral College.  'The fact that he refuses allow this peaceful transfer of power, in my mind makes him a criminal,' she said.  more videos Brigadier Prosser on how the military will assist in Vaccine rollout Care home residents in Stockport receive the Oxford vaccine Matt Hancock insists vac

Thousands of Australians to eat for FREE again as $100 vouchers are given to locals hit hard by the pandemic - so are you eligible for a free dinner?

Thousands of Australians will be given food and entertainment vouchers in a bid to support local businesses struggling to stay open during the pandemic. The NSW Government confirmed it will fast track a $100 'dine and discover' voucher scheme trial for Northern Beaches locals from February, alongside residents in The Rocks, Broken Hill and Sydney's CBD.  'By including the Northern Beaches in the trial it will ensure we fast track stimulus spending at a time when they need it most,' NSW Minister for Customer Service Victor Dominello said in a statement.   The Northern Beaches was plunged into lockdown on December 19 following an unexpected Covid outbreak in Avalon, which quickly developed into a cluster involving those who visited nearby Avalon RSL and the Avalon Bowlo.  In a bid to limit potential positive cases, residents from Manly to Narrabeen on Sydney's Northern Beaches were advised not to leave their homes unless it was deemed essential until January 2 - w

Everything you need to know about Australia's Covid-19 vaccine plan as first the jabs hit arms in February with quarantine workers injected first

Australians will start getting vaccinated against Covid-19 in mid-February, Scott Morrison said on Thursday. The prime minister expects regulators to approve Pfizer's vaccine, which has already been rolled out around the world, before the end of January.  Regulators are on track to approve AstraZeneca's vaccine shortly afterwards, meaning the nation will have two different jabs available. Each person will receive two jabs of the same vaccine about a month apart. Here Daily Mail answers some key questions about the vaccination program.  Next will be anyone over 70 years old, other healthcare workers, people with medical conditions, emergency service workers, some high-risk workers like meat processing workers, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are over 55. After that, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 18 to 54 will get the jab, as well as Aussies over 50 and other high-risk workers. The vaccine will be rolled out in five stages. A manager of some of Australia's most popular city beaches warns that he is seeing more sharks in the water than ever in his 35 years on the water.  John Snook, who looks after beaches like Scarborough and Trigg in Perth, said sightings of sharks close to the shoreline are increasingly common. 'It's highly unusual, something I've never seen before in my 30-odd years down here at the beach,' Mr Snook, the City of Stirling beach coordinator, told Nine News.   Mr Snook said there were more than 20 sharks sighted on Monday, and even more being spotted throughout the week. A beach manager says shark sightings are becoming increasingly common in Western Australia. Pictured, a shark in the water off Perth's northern suburbs 'Just this morning we've seen a great white and a hammerhead,' he said. Tenants and homeowners at one Sydney apartment block are made to sign in guests to their OWN homes with a QR code

Sydney apartment residents are being asked to make their guests scan a QR code every time they enter through the front door. A section of the Macquarie Park Village complex in the city's north has laminated Covid contact tracing notices at the entrance to some units. Those entering each apartment are asked to use a Service New South Wales government app 'to check in before entering' like customers are required to now at restaurants, cafes, clubs, hairdressers and cinemas. Another sign explains the rules for tenants and guests entering both the building and individual apartments in the 'Perth' section of the complex, which is on the corner of Herring and Epping roads, near a university and major shopping mall. Sydney apartment residents are being asked to make their guests scan a QR code every time they enter through the front door. The QR code is blacked out for privacy reasons 'Please ensure you and visitors are registering when entering the building/units,'

Heart of American democracy breached in one MINUTE: Moment Trump's American flag-waving mob easily barge through line of cops to ransack Capitol

A terrifying video shows Trump's angry MAGA mob overpowering Capitol Police to storm the building with their weapons in less than a minute on Thursday.  There were fewer than 2,000 Capitol Police officers on duty on Wednesday and roughly five times as many Trump supporters at the site.  At 1.50pm on Wednesday, the rioters marched towards the Capitol Building after being egged on by the President at a White House rally earlier in the day.  The cops held their line for 52 seconds before the crowds overpowered them entirely.   Then, they failed to claw back control of the Capitol until darkness fell and the National Guard eventually arrived.   The first noticeable breakthrough was from a man waving an American flag. Him breaking through the police barrier emboldened the others Video stills show how the cops were completely overwhelmed by the sheer size of the crowd. 'Deeply troubled' Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao - who is married to Mitch McConnell - RESIGNS over MAGA riot becoming first Cabinet member to quit

Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, who is married to Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, resigned Thursday, becoming the highest-ranking administration official to resign after President Donald Trump incited a mob of supporters who broke into the U.S. Capitol.   Chao made her announcement in an email to colleagues that was obtained by The Washington Post. She later posted her message to Twitter, in a pinned tweet. 'Our country experienced a traumatic and entirely avoidable event as supporters of the President stormed the Capitol building following a rally he addressed. As I'm sure is the case with many of you, it has deeply troubled me in a way that I simply cannot set aside,' she said. She is the first Cabinet official to quit.  Chao said she would still assist her successor, former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who President-elect Joe Biden previously named for the role.  Her last day is Monday, January 10, she said.   Chao's move comes a day after her hus
