'You were the only one I ever loved.' Tiger Woods' mistress Rachel Uchitel reveals last text he sent before wife Elin Nordegren uncovered affair, as she claims golf star called their illicit meetings 'plugging in'

Rachel Uchitel has revealed Tiger Woods called their time together ‘plugging in’ because she would energize him, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The golfer’s infamous mistress said Woods felt ‘recharged’ when they were together because he could unload his problems onto her.

Woods preferred the company of the ex-nightclub hostess because she would ask questions about his life - unlike his Swedish model wife Elin Nordegren, she claims.

Uchitel also reveals Woods texted her ‘you were the only one I ever loved’ minutes before Nordegren used his phone to trick her into admitting they were having an affair.

Uchitel opens up in her first TV interview for a new HBO documentary about Woods’ life, called Tiger, which premieres on Sunday.

The 45-year-old's claims come after DailyMail.com revealed she was recently caught with Her another married man, lawyer Ed Batts, who she was seen kissing at Denver airport last month.

A week later after their romantic getaway to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Batts left his wife of six years for a new life in West Palm Beach, Florida with Uchitel and her eight-year-old daughter Wyatt.

HBO's two-part film claims Woods used to order up to 10 prostitutes at a time during wild parties in Las Vegas which cost $100,000 or more for the weekend.

A former escort who took part said the former world No. 1, who mounted a stunning comeback last year to clinch his fifth Masters title, was into role playing and treated hookers like ‘little puppets.'

A close family friend said Woods learned his philandering ways from watching his father have sex with blondes in a Winnebago RV that he parked next to golf courses when they practiced in his childhood.

Uchitel was the first of more than a dozen women who were identified as Woods’ mistresses in 2009, which led to his downfall from the pinnacle of the golfing world.

Until then Woods’ image had been squeaky clean and he had earned hundreds of millions of dollars from sponsorships, including Nike and American Express.

In the documentary Uchitel appears weary having spent the last decade known as ‘Tiger Woods’ mistress’ but still decided to speak out.

She says: ‘I have stayed quiet about this story but at this point I have nothing left to lose. My name hasn’t lost the stigma at all.'

Uchitel describes how she first met Woods, 45, at Griffin, an exclusive nightclub in New York where she saw him sitting alone and chatted to him.

Before she left he asked for her number and Uchitel guessed that his car ‘probably hadn’t even got to the light at the corner’ before he texted her.

She says in the documentary: ‘He said something like when can I see you again. It was intimidating. This was Tiger Woods. I know he was married, I knew he had responsibilities but he said I want you to fly to Orlando then I will come see you there.

‘That was the first night I had sex with him and I remember thinking how am I ever going to be with a mere mortal again because so many people put him on such a pedestal and here he was in my bed, and he was my Tiger.'

Reflecting on their relationship, Uchitel says they ‘really enjoyed being with each other.'

She says: ‘He would refer to it as ''plugging in''. He would tell me when he saw me he felt he could plug in and get recharged.

‘He had trouble sleeping and would have to take Ambien. I’d sit next to him for hours while he’d fall asleep next to me and when he got up he allowed himself to be a little kid.

'It sounds kind of odd. He would eat cereal and he’d watch his cartoons and he was like a fountain, he wanted to talk and talk and talk.'

Uchitel agrees with the argument of the documentary that the root of Woods’ problems was his father Earl’s obsession to make him into not just the world’s best golfer, but a Gandhi-like figure who would transcend the sport and bring joy to the world.

Uchitel says: ‘He told me a lot about his childhood, his dad and he was sick of trying to hide who he was but he was so scared of the real Tiger not living up to the Tiger that everybody else thinks he is.

‘One day I did ask him why he didn’t check in at home with Elin. He said she doesn’t ask questions like you, she’s not like you.

'It occurred to me he wanted someone to check in with. I asked him a million questions and he wanted to give every single detail he hadn’t been able to say in years or ever.'

One day when Woods was dropping her off at the airport, Uchitel told him she would miss him.

He told her to ‘learn to compartmentalize your feelings, push them off to the side and think about something else’, she says.

Their affair became public after Woods summoned Uchitel to the Australian Masters in 2009.

He told her that ‘I can’t win if you’re not here’ so she flew to be with him.

Uchitel says: ‘This man that everybody wanted a piece of only wanted me. That’s the biggest ''I love you'' you could hear’.

The National Enquirer had been monitoring Woods for months and a reporter followed her up in the elevator and watched her go into Woods’ suite, which was proof enough for the story to run.

Woods tried to persuade Nordegren that Uchitel was a friend and put her on the phone with her for 30 minutes.

Uchitel says she used the time ‘convincing her I was not having a sexual relationship with Tiger’ and she seemed to have bought it.

The story came out and it seemed to have made little impact.

On Thanksgiving Uchitel says she was texting Woods they had ‘gotten away unscathed in what could have been a complete nightmare’.

Then she got a text saying: ‘You were the only one I ever loved’. Uchitel was feeling that things had 'never been better' between them.

Woods said he was taking an Ambien and going to sleep but a short while later Uchitel got another text saying: ‘When am I going to see you again’, and then the phone rang.

Surprised, Uchitel answered with ‘hey babe’ but it was Nordegren who told her: ‘I knew it was you.'

Nordegren and Woods got into a ferocious argument that led to her chasing him out of the house with a golf club and him crashing his SUV into a tree.

After the incident the affair became public and Woods’ world collapsed and a slew of women came forward to claim they had affairs with him.

Nordegren, with whom he had two young children, divorced him for a reported $100 million.

Uchitel says: ‘I regret that he was married and I regret the mistakes that I made but people came at me like they wanted to blame me for the fact a married man cheated on his wife, like I was the only one responsible for his actions.'

Woods arranged for a confidentiality settlement and told Uchitel to ‘get as much as you can’ from his lawyers.

Uchitel says: ‘I think to him that was his only way to love me at the time.'

Woods continued winning for a few years but injuries destroyed his form and he hit rock bottom in 2017 when he was arrested for a DUI in Palm Beach County with five different kinds of drugs in his system.

The documentary says the death of Earl Woods in 2006 was a turning point for Woods, whose life began to go off the rails.

By then he had begun making regular trips to Las Vegas where he indulged a side of him that the public never did.

Tiffany Masters, a former VIP host in Vegas said they would ‘spoil’ Woods and told him: ‘You’re like a prince and free to do whatever you want.'

In Vegas, Woods would party with basketball legends Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley who would be surrounded by beautiful women who wanted to hang out with them.

Woods was wide-eyed and clueless in the beginning and asked Jordan what to say if one of the women approached him.

Jordan told him: ‘Tell them you’re Tiger Woods’, the documentary says.

Journalist Armen Keteyian says in Vegas Woods was ‘unchained from the history of his childhood’ and the pressures of being a public role model.

Masters says Vegas was ‘like a drug’ and Woods ‘kept having another hit and another hit’ with hookers who cost six figures to spend the weekend with him.

Michelle Braun, a former madam who claims to have serviced Woods, says: ‘Every couple of months he requested to have multiple girls. It could be up to 10 girls at a time. He had a particular type, he liked young college cutie, girl next door types, preferably blonde.'

Loredana Jolie, a former escort, says in the documentary: ‘He was into role playing. We would go and get tons of girls and he’d dress into a suit. We were like little puppets.'

Another insight into Woods’ behavior comes from Joe Grohman, a former close family friend who knew Earl Woods well.

The documentary says the death of Earl Woods in 2006 was a turning point for Woods, whose life began to go off the rails. Pictured: Woods and model Tyson Beckford attending the Met Gala after party at New York's Standard Hotel in 2013

Grohman is frank about his behavior and says he and Earl were ‘not the best role models when it came to honoring your marriage, I assure you.'

He says: ‘Earl had this little Winnebago and we’d let him teach on the range and he’d teach a very attractive blonde woman. I never figured out where he met these women. Often after the lesson they’d go into the Winnebago for ''cocktails''.

‘Tiger was at the course and I was every bit as bad .

‘For a long time me and Earl were the two biggest male figures in his life and here I am chasing skirts and bringing them to the course and he’s seeing this. And I was married at the time and he’s seeing this.

‘To have access to this child’s development and expose him to that…sorry champ.'

Dina Parr, Woods’ first girlfriend who knew him during his youth in Orange County, California, says that she thought his father and mother were creating a ‘robot'.

He ditched her with a brutal letter after his parents worried their relationship would derail his golf career.

The note was to ‘inform you, my parents and myself never want to talk or hear from you again,' Parr says.

Woods signed off by asking Parr to mail the necklace that he gave her back and to not show up at a tournament the next day ‘because you are just not welcome.'

The first part of Tiger is available on Sun, Jan 10 at 9:00pm ET on HBO and HBO Max
