An Idaho internet provider has announced it has blocked access to Twitter and Facebook due to censorship 'concerns' after both social media sites banned President Donald Trump.  YourT1Wifi, which services North Idaho and parts of Washington, informed its customers of the decision this week after reportedly receiving multiple complaints from subscribers.  In an email sent out on Monday, owner Bret Fink said the company had been 'fielding calls' over the last few days from customers calling for the websites to be blocked from the network. Screenshots of the email were shared on Twitter by customer Krista Yep, who slammed the move as 'alarming' and 'insane.'   'It has come to our attention that Twitter and Facebook are engaged in censorship of our customers and information,' the email began.  YourT1Wifi, which covers North Idaho and parts of Washington, informed customers Monday it was blocking access to Twitter and Facebook amid censorship concerns

Small businesses hail Supreme Court ruling forcing insurers to pay out for losses from first Covid lockdown - with tens of thousands of firms in line for £1.2bn windfall (including Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs's luxury hotel chain!)

Tens of thousands of small businesses are set for a £1.2billion windfall after the Supreme Court ordered insurers to pay out for losses from the first Covid lockdown.  Cafes, pubs, beauty parlours, holiday firms and wedding planners are among the 370,000 firms that had policies which should now pay out.  Former footballer Gary Neville, who owns two luxury hotels in Manchester with his former teammate, Ryan Giggs, is one of the business owners in line to receive thousands.  The news is a boon to small firms that have been crippled by the impact of the harsh restrictions, but it is unclear if any of the money will go to customers of travel or events companies who have had bookings cancelled.  Kim Roe, managing director of Sussex-based events company Circa Group, said: 'We're very relieved. As a business that makes money from putting on events, we've lost a whole year of revenue during the pandemic. 'This ruling is a life-saver for us and will make all the difference in th

'The Godfather' is cleared: Mexico president says former defense minister arrested by the US and handed over won't be charged and claims DEA 'fabricated' accusations he helped cartel move tonnes of drugs - despite wiretap implicating him

Mexico won't pursue criminal charges against former defense minister Salvador Cienfuegos, officials have announced - a decision that raised criticism and comes despite US prosecutors' accusations he collaborated with drug lords. Cienfuegos, a member of former President Enrique Peña Nieto's government, was arrested in October at Los Angeles international airport and accused by US prosecutors of collaborating with the H-2 cartel, one of Mexico's most powerful drug trafficking organizations.  His arrest sparked outrage among Mexico's top officials, who reportedly threatened to expel American federal drug agents if the DOJ refused to abandon its case. A federal judge in November granted a US government request to drop drug charges against Cienfuegos and return him to Mexico, which the US hoped would restore trust in the neighbors' severely strained security ties. However, all charges were dropped and Cienfuegos, who was never placed under arrest after he was returne

Tucker Carlson accuses Democrats led by AOC of using Capitol riot to justify ‘the most sweeping crackdown on civil liberties and free speech in the history of this country’

Tucker Carlson on Thursday let rip at Democrats who he accused of using last week’s Capitol riot to launch an attack on civil liberties and free speech in the most sweeping crackdown ‘in the history of this country’. The Fox News host used a segment on his show to call out Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who he branded the ‘Kim Kardashian of Congress’ as he slammed her suggestion that a government commission is need to 'reign in' the press. AOC has been criticized for what some have dubbed the ‘Ministry of Truth’ that she recommended in order to stop the spread of 'misinformation’. Carlson also blasted AOC and her colleague Ayanna Pressley as hypocrites for their most recent positive comments on Capitol cops, as he claimed they were spreading ‘lies’ in stating that the MAGA Trump mob was leading an insurrection on the Capitol. He accused AOC and left-wing radicals of using the death of George Floyd in May, in particular, to ‘change this country forever’.

The family of an unarmed black man shot dead by a white cop while he was suffering a mental health crisis have released doorbell footage of the killing as they call for the officer to be arrested and bodycam footage to be handed over.   Patrick Warren Sr., 52, died Sunday after allegedly being shot three times in the chest by Killeen Police Officer Reynaldo Contreras outside his home in the 1600 block of Carrollton Avenue in Killeen, Texas. His devastated family said they had requested help from a mental health professional for the husband and father-of-three but that the officer turned up to their home instead.  Doorbell footage released by the family's attorney Wednesday shows Warren Sr. coming out of his front door with his arms in the air in front of him.  Separate footage shows the 52-year-old getting up from his knees on the front lawn before three shots ring out and a male's voice screams at the cop: 'I told you, don't use a gun'. A protest was held in the ar
