Two men are arrested 'after they returned their rental car at upstate New York airport with 140 envelopes of heroin, more than 35g of MDMA and fentanyl-laced fake oxycodone pills'
Two men from upstate New York have been arrested on drug charges after authorities say they had forgotten a cache of drugs, including heroin and MDMA, inside a rental car.
Aasim Hilts, 26, and Shariff Frasier were taken into custody on Wednesday after returning to the car rental business at Albany International Airport to retrieve the drugs they had left behind.
The incident began unfolding on Wednesday, when the Albany County Sheriff's Office received a call from the rental company at the airport, saying that clients had left drugs in the car they had returned.

Deputies who responded to the scene encountered Hilts and Frasier, who they say had returned to the rental lot for their misplaced drugs, reported The Daily Gazette.

During an interview with investigators, Hilts, of Albany, was found to be in possession of 140 glassine envelopes containing heroin, over 35 grams of MDMA, 62 counterfeit oxycodone pills pressed with fentanyl, 10 suboxone strips, an unspecified quantity of marijuana, and over $5,600 in cash, according to the sheriff's office.
Frasier was discovered to be in possession of marijuana.
Hilts was charged with nearly a dozen drug counts, most of them felonies, and released to probation supervision.
Fraiser was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, which is a violation, and released on an appearance ticket.
Both suspects were ordered to appear in Colonie Town Court at a later date, reported News10.
