Extraordinary moment a glamorous traveller breaks down in her hotel room because she can't TAN on a balcony as she starts another 14 days of quarantine

A glamorous traveller who returned to Queensland from Brazil two weeks ago was told she would need to undergo a further 14 day mandatory hotel quarantine after the hotel she was staying in had a Covid breach.

Leila Burate had her bags packed and ready to go on Wednesday when she received a phone call from Queensland Health about 8.30am - two hours before she was due to check out.

The 27-year-old was told she would be required to restart her hotel quarantine period in a new location, despite having already undergone five Covid tests.

Ms Burate said she 'cried on the phone' and begged not to quarantine all over again but that 'there was no option'.

When she arrived at The Westin in Brisbane, the Instagrammer said she was pleasantly surprised with her new room.

While it was 'nicer than the last one', she was upset when she realised it was 'missing a balcony' for her to tan herself on.
