Solano County evacuation orders include Travis Air Force Base and portions of Vacaville, Fairfield
Update: Wednesday evening, Napa County and Solano County joined the rest of the Bay Area in ordering residents to keep in their homes as much as possible.
VACAVILLE, Calif. -- Wildfires burning four Northern California counties have destroyed homes and prompted evacuations, officials said Wednesday.
The fires, called the LNU Lightning Complex, were ignited Tuesday night by lightning strikes in Napa and Sonoma counties. Then overnight, the flames moved into Solano County, burning dozens of homes and alerting urgent evacuations.
The complex fire has consumed 124,000 acres with zero containment, as of Wednesday night, Cal Fire stated. The complex is made up of at least seven different wildfires burning near each other, including the Hennessey, Morgan, Walbridge and Spanish fires.
Four individuals have been injured from the LNU Lightning Sophisticated, Cal Fire Explained. About 105 structures were destroyed while the other 70 were damaged. Cal Fire said the other 25,000 structures are endangered.
"This is a remarkably emotional and stressful time for the majority of us who have endured lots of wildfires throughout the past few years," said Sonoma County Sheriff Mark Essick. He reminded people about sirens which have been installed in the past several years to tell people to evacuate.
"High-low siren means it is time to proceed," Essick explained.
EVACUATIONS IN PLACE
The fire motivated mandatory evacuations of Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield. Officials stated all non-mission essential personnel are ordered to depart the base through the north and south gates.
Base personnel are asked evacuating personnel not to use the main or hospital gates.
"UPDATE: As of 8:35 p.m. the Emergency Evacuation Assistance Center has been triggered. For help please call -LRB-707-RRB- 424-2486."

BATTLING THE BLAZE
Firefighters continue to see erratic fire behavior from the wildfires, officials said Wednesday.
"A badly dry airmass is moving over the region, bringing strong winds," Cal Fire said in an upgrade.
After tripping, the flames kicked up about 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday night, the Vacaville Fire Department said. There were winds around 30 mph that pushed the flames out of Napa County into the outskirts of downtown Vacaville -- right up to the backs of houses.
By Wednesday night, four of the wildfires had merged into a single -- the Hennessey Fire. The fire began near Ridge Road in Napa County. It's consumed 100,000 acres.
"Extreme fire behavior with short- and long-range spotting are ongoing to challenge firefighting efforts," Cal Fire said in a report upgrade. "Fires are making runs in multiple ways and affecting multiple communities."
Early Wednesday morning, fire crews were seen attempting to safeguard houses and rescuing animals from the fire.
By Wednesday afternoon, the flames moved to I-80, shutting down the street as a result of low visibility. The highway reopened more than four hours afterwards.
More than 580 fire employees are fighting with the flames, with help from 71 motors, 28 dozers and 27 water tenders.
The wildfires are also creating poor air quality in the Bay Area along with also the Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley.
"Residents might experience quite smokey conditions since the firefight continues," Cal Fire stated. "Smokey states could be unhealthful to a lot of people, particularly children, the elderly and anyone with respiratory problems."
Gov. Gavin Newsom blamed"this incredible weather we are experiencing and all these lightning strikes" to 367 known flames, such as 23 major fires or bands of fires. He said the state has listed nearly 11,000 lightning strikes in 72 hours.
