New Jersey dad, 33, his two daughters, 5 and 9, and his niece, 8, are killed after he crashed his car into utility pole while returning from a birthday party
Four members of the same family were killed after a father crashed his car into a utility pole when they were returning from a birthday party in New Jersey on Saturday night.
George Ritter, 33, his five and nine-year-old daughters Alivia and Elsie, and niece Kenzie Mammoccio, eight, died after Ritter crashed in Westville, Gloucester County.
Ritter and the children were returning from a child's birthday party at the Westville Power Boat Association.
They were just minutes away from home when the crashed happened around 9pm.

'She was caring and honest and full of life and spark.'
The crash happened on the 1000 block of Gateway Boulevard in Westville.
Mourners have payed their respects to the victims by leaving teddy bears and flowers at the place of the crash.

The reasons behind the crash have not yet been released to the public.
'Investigators are working on determining the exact cause of the accident,' said Westville Chief of Police William Whinna.
The Westville Power Boat Association is organizing a fundraiser to cover the cost of the funerals.
The GoFundMe page description read: 'They have touched the lives of so many and it's our turn to show our appreciation for George and the girls one last time.'
More than 300 people have donated around $20,000 from the $50,000 goal.
