But Alessandra Ambrosio chose to make a statement of a different kind on a recent shopping trip.

The 31-year-old showed off her slender frame in flashy black-and-white skinny trousers as she shopped at the Isabel Marant store in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The Victoria's Secret Angel looked effortlessly stylish as she strolled out of the high-end designer shop in West Hollywood.

She showed off her curves in the trousers, which she paired with a loose-fitting cream shirt worn over a neon yellow top.

The brunette beauty added a further boost to her already tall 5ft 10in frame with black ankle boots, and accessorised with an over-sized black leather handbag.

The model was no doubt in high spirits after what she described as the ‘best Easter ever.’

Sharing a picture of herself wearing a pair of bunny ears, accompanied by her daughter Anja and son Noah, she wrote: ‘Best Easter ever !!! Melhor Páscoa do mundo com meus pimpolhos #happyeaster #felizpascoa #sundayfunday’

‘Melhor Páscoa do mundo com meus pimpolhos’ translates as best Easter in the world with my youngsters.

She also shared a picture of some Easter themed cookies showing she really got into the spirit of the festival.
