Halle Berry forced to step in as fiance Olivier Martinez
He infamously left Halle Berry's ex-Gabriel Aubry bruised and battered following a nasty Thanksgiving brawl last year.
And now the actress's fiance Olivier Martinez has been accused of assaulting a photographer.
The French actor reportedly got into a scuffle with a paparazzo at LAX airport on Monday night after he arrived back to Los Angeles with Halle and her daughter Nahla following a trip to Hawaii.
The fracas went down when Halle, Olivier and Nahla were swarmed by paparazzi as they walked through the terminals at LAX.
Halle allegedly told the photographers: 'Get away, there’s a child.'
Not long after her warnings, Olivier reportedly kicked a photographer by the name of Silvano Faccio in the leg and the wrist.
The move is said to have enraged the Unfaithful star further and after putting Nahla into the back of an awaiting SUV, he reportedly ran back into the airport for a second round, kicking Faccio once more in the leg.
It was then when Halle intervened, trying to calm her partner down and ordering him to get back into the car.
The incident comes after Olivier was involved in a Thanksgiving brawl last year with Halle's ex-Gabriel.
Although Gabriel was alleged to have started the fight, he clearly came off worse of the two and was left with a black eye, cuts under his left eye, forehead and nose, as well as broken ribs.
Reports at the time claimed the Thanksgiving Day fight happened after Gabriel dropped his daughter Nahla off at Halle and Olivier's LA home.
After that, Gabriel is said to have pushed the French actor and then lashed out at his face, hitting his shoulder instead.
In an act of self-defense, police sources say Olivier then gave three quick punches to Gabriel's face, which resulted in the injuries and bruises the Canadian model sported for weeks.
Olivier then performed a citizen's arrest on Gabriel, who was arrested on suspicion of battery.
The altercation took place just two weeks after a judge ruled Halle could not move her daughter Nahla to France - Olivier's home country - after Gabriel objected.
The Monster's Ball actress wanted to move the youngster to Paris to live with her and Olivier.
Halle was arguing that Los Angeles was not the ideal place for her daughter to grow up, due to the glare of the paparazzi.
But Gabriel was arguing that having his daughter live thousands of miles away would render it extremely difficult for him to remain a part of her life.
Halle and Gabriel split in April 2010 after more than four years of dating, and a few months later she began a relationship with Olivier after meeting on the set of Dark Tide. They confirmed their engagement in March 2012.
