I was born to be a mother': Hayden Panettiere opens
They rekindled their romance two months ago after splitting up in 2011, and are now rumoured to be now engaged.
And it seems that Hayden Panettiere and her boxer beau Wladimir Klitschko's second chance at love has finally cemented their relationship.
In a new interview with Glamour magazine, the pint-sized Nashville star opens up about the couple's renewed love and her plans for the future.
'I've lived a very big life and I don't feel my age and I feel like I was born to be a mother,' she explains.
'Sometimes people speak about (having kids) like "Your life ends - you're never going to be able to do anything again!" And I'm like "What are talking about?" Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there's nothing I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life.
'I would sacrifice having more years of being wherever I want whenever I want for years with my kids.'
Hayden says that this time around her relationship with Wladimir has changed and for the better, especially since they remained good friends.
'It's like the 2.0 version. I've always had relationships and stayed really good friends with the guys I have dated,' she explains.
'An acquaintance of ours did a coffee-table book, and the proceeds when to genocide prevention. We met at the party for the launch of the book; we've been friends for years - we've never not been close.'
Hayden says her views on marriage and relationships have not been rocked by her own parent's union, which was initially shattered when her father went to jail for domestic violence for abusing her mother when Hayden was just 18-years-old.
He was later charged with misdemeanor spousal battery and was placed on probation for two years, ordered to pay $400 to the state's domestic violence fund, and was made to enroll and complete a 52-week domestic violence treatment program.
'When it happened, I knew my denying it or saying it was false wasn't going to do anything. People would just say, "Oh, she's in denial." My parents are really good people - they are just not meant to be together,' explains Hayden.
'I think it's pretty obvious. I am not going to deny it,' she tells Glamour.
A source told Usmagazine.com of the engagement: 'Very few people know, and she isn't wearing her ring publicly yet.'
And now Hayden and Wladimir are engaged, they are now said to be already planning their nuptials - with the wedding tentatively set for later this year.
The source added: 'Looks like a summer wedding!'
In January, Hayden had denied that the two had officially reconnected after he was seen dropping her off at the airport.
When she landed in Los Angeles on January 11 she insisted to TMZ that the former couple were just good friends, but her giggly demeanour somewhat spelled otherwise.
'We've been friends for five years now, so we're just good buddies,' she told the website.
'I knew that was going to be the question! I was lassoed in.'
Her reunion with Wladimir comes after the star split with former New York Jets star Scotty McKnight last December.
The actress and footballer had been dating since June 2011, just one month after she split from fellow pro-athlete Wladimir.
Hayden had been dating the Ukrainian sports star since 2009 before parting ways in 2011.
In a statement obtained by German magazine Bunte, Wladimir said they called time on their 18-month romance because it was difficult coping with having a long-distance relationship.
Standing at just 5'2, Hayden is known for her super fit figure, often showing it off on the beach in a bikini.
The actress also tells Glamour that she has experimented with diets in the past, but now with her busy schedule on Nashville can no longer afford to deny herself of food.
'I refused myself a lot of things for a long time, and the more I did that, the more I wanted foods I wasn't supposed to have,' she explains.
'Now I am on my feet for 16 hours a day, and I need energy, so I eat constantly. Every two hours, you should be throwing something in., a handful of nuts or a piece of fruit.'
