Kelsey Grammer's daughter Spencer turns tough girl

She's having fun playing the tough girl. And Spencer Grammer certainly held her own among her male counterparts as she ran after a suspect and wrestled him to the ground in New York on Monday.
It's was all part of a day's work for Kelsey's 29-year-old daughter, who was filming scenes for a pilot remake of the 1970s classic Ironside about a wheelchair-bound detective and his sassy sidekick.

As Holly, Spencer stands up to Ironside, played by Blair Underwood, and everybody else who crosses her path.
The pretty blonde star was clad in her character's civilian clothes which consisted of grey jeans and green coat over a black leather jacket, and rugged boots made for running.
Spencer, who wore her fair hair pulled back in a slick ponytail, was also outfitted with a very noticeable gun and holster and shiny cop badge.

Cuff him! Spencer got to wrestle the suspect to the ground and put the cuffs on him while co-star Pablo Schreiber helped

 

In one scene, the lithe actress was seen running a criminal down before tackling him on the sidewalk and cuffing his hands behind his back while her co-star, Pablo Schreiber, assisted.
Not that she looked like she needed any help - Spencer seemed quite capable of handling the situation.
Schreiber, brother of actor Liev Schreiber, no doubt got a rush out of watching Spencer in action.

Spencer began her acting career appearing on her famous father's show Cheers and later won a role on As The World Turns playing Lucy.
She is perhaps best known for playing Casey Cartwright in the television series Greek.
Spencer wed James Hesketh in February 2011 and became a first time mother eight months later when she gave birth to the couple's son Emmett.

Coincidentally, Kelsey, 58, and his wife of two years Kayte, 33, became the parents of a bouncing baby girl, Faith, in July.
The pair were seen taking in the sights of Bal Harbour, a wealthy suburb of Miami, on Monday.
Kelsey looked cool in green collared shirt and white trousers while Kayte was casually dressed in an orange summery top as they enjoyed an afternoon of shopping,
