Blind England star Clarke will present FA Cup



Blind footballer David Clarke will present the FA Cup to the winners at Wembley on May 11.

Wigan face Manchester City in the showpiece final and Clarke, who has scored 128 goals in 144 appearances for England, will hand over the trophy.

The 42-year-old has been described as England’s greatest goalscorer and was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award in February. He has also represented Great Britain at three Paralympic Games.

Wigan chairman Dave Whelan will lead his side out for the final, 53 years after the 76-year-old broke a leg while playing for Blackburn Rovers in the 1960 final.
