Woman suffers serious leg injuries and is airlifted to hospital after getting trapped underneath her car wheel in a school parking lot

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being trapped underneath a car outside a primary school in Sydney.

Emergency services were called to the Mary Immaculate Primary School on Barnier Drive in Quakers Hill on Wednesday afternoon.

Detectives arrived to find a woman, who was the owner of the car, trapped underneath a wheel.

She was suffering serious leg injuries and was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Westmead Hospital.

Another woman and a four-year-old girl were also hit by the car and suffered minor injuries.

NSW Police said early analysis leads detectives to believe the woman got out of her car and it started rolling back, trapping her underneath and hitting the other two victims.

Investigations are underway.
