Donald Trump is mocked over election loss in deepfake video made by creators of South Park showing president in meltdown as he reads reindeer story with political twist

The creators of South Park have mocked Donald Trump’s reaction to his election loss in a new festive ‘deepfake’ video that depicts him descending into meltdown as he reads out a Christmas story for kids.

Brought to life by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the amusing skit shows Trump sulking as he reads a reindeer story with a political twist to reflect his defeat to Joe Biden in November and his failed attempts to cling on to power since.

The parody aired in the latest episode of the comedy duo’s satirical webseries, Sassy Justice, and uses deepfake technology, which replaces one's likeness with another’s with uncannily convincing results.

Trump’s character, which is played by Peter Serafinowicz, is seen sporting a colorful Christmas Jumper and a festive hat.

‘Once upon a time there was a little reindeer, all the reindeer agreed he was the best reindeer out of all the reindeers,’ the clip begins.

‘The next day a grumpy, old, sleepy-eyed reindeer came into town and started saying, “You know the reindeer? He’s not awesome.” “But he is awesome,” all the reindeers said.’

As the fable continues, Trump’s character becomes notably more incensed as he finds parallels between himself and the reindeer, blurring the lines between the animal’s plight and his own.

Trump then says an election was held among the reindeer to find out who was ‘the best reindeer’, which was ultimately ‘rigged’ and beleaguered by ‘cheating’.

‘People started cheating, the numbers changed,’ he continues. ‘And they say, “He's won, he won the election!”.’

Trump then goes on to decry that voting numbers changed in ‘Pennsylvania by 300,000 … and that’s Dominion,’ a reference to Dominion Voting Systems who have been accused by members of the Trump legal team of manipulating vote counts.

No longer reading from the book in front of him, the Trump character, seemingly on the verge of tears, begins frantically gesturing his arms and whimpering: ‘He did not win the election. He did not!’

‘He didn’t win because they cheated,’ Trump then shouts, as a hand-drawn image parodying CNN and the network’s election ‘Magic Wall’ crops up on screen.

‘I fought an honest election,’ an irate Trump blasts, before drastically calming his tone.

‘And do you know what happened to that reindeer? He died, and there was no Christmas ever again.’

Aside from an hour-long ‘Pandemic Special’ episode released in September, South Park has been all but absence from screens this year.

While no airing date for season 24 of South Park has yet been set, the Trump clip comes as part of the latest episode of Parker and Stone’s new project, Sassy Justice, which airs monthly on YouTube.

The show is centered on a characters called Fred Sassy who is an American Consumer Advocate and reporter for a local TV station in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
