A university lecturer in China had trouble focusing on her students after a furry intruder wandered into the classroom.
The puppy, a stray living on the campus in western China's Xinjiang, is seen in a trending video following the educator around and playing with her shoes while the students tried their best to ignore cute dog.
A fellow lecturer, who captured the scene, told MailOnline that despite its unexpected arrival, the pup won the staff's hearts and was adopted by one of their colleagues.

The amusing moment was filmed at a Xinjiang university on Wednesday when a group of undergraduates were sitting an exam.
Before the exam began, some of them had brought two stray puppies living on the campus into the building to keep them warm on the harsh winter day.
The students left the dogs in an empty classroom nearby whilst they were completing the exam, supervised by two lecturers.
But the naughty pups appeared to be the type that doesn't like to stay still.
While the class was concentrating on the exam papers, the two furry residents suddenly wandered into the room.

One of the pups seemed particularly playful as it tried to distract one of the teachers from focusing on her students.
In the video filmed by her colleague, the lecturer is seen amused while watching the pup play with her shoes as if they were its new toys.
As she tried to walk away, the little dog ran after her eagerly, seemingly refusing to let her go back to work.
'It was so cute. My heart was melted watching the pups, so I wanted to capture the moment,' the other lecturer, who wished to remain anonymous, told MailOnline.

The adorable pup also won netizens over after the teacher shared the footage on Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of TikTok.
One viewer said: 'Play with it, now, right now, hurry up!'
Another commenter joked: 'The pup is trying to help the students cheat by distracting the teachers.'
After the footage went viral, the lecturer shared other clips during which the staff can be seen feeding the two strays.
Despite their unexpected arrivals, the pups have won the teachers' hearts and have been adopted by one of their colleagues, she told MailOnline.
