NBA veteran Rajon Rondo, 34, and his girlfriend 'attacked one of her neighbors during a parking dispute', $1million lawsuit alleges

Veteran NBA guard Rajon Rondo is reportedly being sued for at least $1million by a California woman, who claims she was beaten up by him and his girlfriend during a parking lot dispute, but the two-time league champion is denying the accusation.

TMZ reported the lawsuit, but did not name the court where it was filed. Rondo's attorney did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment.

The plaintiff, Toktam Jorshari, is reportedly a neighbor of Rondo's girlfriend in Los Angeles, where he played for the last two seasons before signing with the Atlanta Hawks last month.

According to the report, Jorshari claimed that on July 28, Rondo parked in a handicapped parking space outside their building despite the fact that his $300,000 Rolls Royce SUV did not have the proper tags.

When she parked in an adjacent spot, reportedly blocking his driver-side access, Rondo got upset.

'B****, why do you think you can park here,' Rondo allegedly asked Jorshari, who claims she felt unsafe because his face mask had slipped down below his nose while he was yelling at her.

Rondo then allegedly shoved her against her car.

Jorshari claims the push was 'so violent and forceful that her sandal shoe flew off her foot.'

She added that 'her keys which she held in her hand flew out of her hand and broke into two pieces when the key fell onto the ground.'

When she was on the ground, Jorshari claims, Rondo's girlfriend 'proceeded to repeatedly physically attack by striking her in the area of her head and upper body.'

Jorshari also claims that Rondo gave his girlfriend the 'green light' for the attack.

She is seeking unspecified damages in excess of $1million.

According to the lawsuit, the incident was caught on tape, but Rondo's attorney Mark D. Baute told TMZ the footage supports his client's case and not Jorshari's.

'The case is meritless,' Baute told TMZ Sports. 'I have seen the videotape. Mr. Rondo was polite throughout the encounter, the claimant was not wearing a mask and was unstable and rude. We look forward to defending the case and winning.'

TMZ does not name Rondo's girlfriend in its report.

Rondo was rehabbing a hand injury at the time of the alleged incident, but returned to the NBA's league bubble at Disney World in Orlando to help the Lakers win the club's 17th league title.
