This is the moment an adorable dog interfered in a Bolivian soccer league match before being carried off by a player - who later decided to adopt him.
The hilarious incident took place during a Christmas Eve match between Primera División de Bolivia clubs The Strongest and Club Atlético Nacional Potosà in La Paz.
The mischievous dog wandered out to the pitch with a player's cleat in his mouth and ran around in circles before play was halted in the second half.
Local broadcast cameras showed the playful dog lying on the grass as the players on both sides petted him.

Raúl Castro, a player from The Strongest, a club in the Primera División de Bolivia club, adopted the playful dog and named him Cachito
The Strongest's Raúl Castro then reached down and carried the canine over to the sideline.
According to local media outlets, the 31-year-old footballer warmed up to the dog and adopted him.
Shelter workers said the dog had been injured by a vehicle during an accident on December 18.
'I got in contact with the shelter and told them that I will adopt him,' Castro said. 'He will be named Cachito, the name people gave him.'
Castro said he would be arranging to take Cachito home following his return from a road match in Santa Cruz on Thursday.
