Victoria has reported zero new coronavirus cases and no deaths for the sixth day in a row.

The figures released on Thursday brought Melbourne's crucial 14-day rolling average down to 1.2 and there are currently two active cases with an unknown source.

It comes as the state prepares to further ease its coronavirus restrictions and welcome a border opening with New South Wales.
