Shocking moment man is repeatedly punched in the testicles during street fight involving cyclist in east London

Shocking footage has captured the moment a man was repeatedly punched in the testicles during a street fight in east London.

The clip, shared to Twitter, shows two men throwing brutal punches at each other on Brick Lane, Tower Hamlets late last night.

In the footage, one of the pair shouts 'You're f***ing mad' before the other is heard screaming 'Get the f**k off!' at his assailant. 

One of the men quickly runs further down the street before the other follows, again launching punches.

The cameramen then shouts 'Leave her alone, man' at an unknown person, before one of the two men launches himself on the other's back.

The camera then pans to the left to show another individual had joined the scuffle. 

The newcomer, an apparent cyclist, abandons their bicycle in the road as they and one of the men drag the other to the pavement and push him to the ground.

The cyclist then punches the man repeatedly in the testicles as the clip comes to an end.

Footage of the fight was today shared to social media, where it quickly gained more than 19,900 views. 

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: 'Police were called after a report of an assault at 0130 hrs, on Wednesday, 4 November in Brick Lane, E1.

'On arrival at the scene, police found the London Ambulance Service attending to a man with facial injuries.

'A man in his forties was taken to hospital. His injuries were not life threatening.

'Officers carried out enquires at the scene including reviewing CCTV and established the suspect had left before police arrived.

'No arrests have been made at this time. Officers are continuing to investigate.'
