Australia netball coach Lisa Alexander has challenged her players to beat England by at least 10 goals in the first clash of the three-match Test series at the University of Bath on Sunday night.

The Diamonds, ranked No1 in the world, come to England buoyed by two convincing wins over Anna Mayes’ side in the Quad Series in Australia last October, hoping to make it nine Test victories in a row over the hosts.

Australia, though, will be without influential captain Natalie von Bertouch, who aggravated a finger injury in training and face a team determined to seek revenge for a generally disappointing performance in the autumn.
