Making a splash! Sarah Jessica Parker and her twins
April showers bring May flowers.
But Sarah Jessica Parker’s little petals seemed to
already be appreciating the promise of springtime as they walked to school in
New York City on Friday.
The Sex and the City actress and her twin daughters, Marion
and Tabitha, braved the rain to enjoy time together before class.

Ever the stylish and cautious mother, the 48-year-old dressed her girls appropriately for the rain.
Marion
and Tabitha, who were born via a surrogate mother in 2009, were bright
spots in the grey day, donning pink and purple rain coats and matching
pink rain boots.
Little Marion's jacket was decorated with butterflies, and Tabitha's crawled with spotted ladybugs.
Both
girls had dresses peeking out from under their jackets, and identical
heather grey leggings protected them from the splash of puddles.

Not letting
the dim skies cast a shadow over time with their mother, the twins
showed Mom white flowers with bright green leaves on stems that seemed
to be taller than themselves.
Sarah Jessica seemed thrilled to be back with her girls after a photo shoot in Beverly Hills last Thursday.
She saved the colourful outfits for her girls, though.

The Failure to Launch actress hid her hair from the rain under a knit beanie that had a puffy ball at the crown.
A grey T-shirt was layered under a similarly coloured long puffy coat, and a large satchel crossed over the tiny actress' body.
The
fashion idol rolled the ankles of her skinny jeans to expose tall
Aztec-printed socks that poked out of her Hunter raining boots.
Busy mother Jessica won't be slowing down anytime soon.
She will next be seen in the romantic comedy Married and Cheating with Eva Longoria.
