And it seems the new series, which begins on Saturday night, is due to be exactly the same after Amanda Holden is left blubbing in the first episode.
The 43-year-old can’t contain her emotions while watching a group of shadow dancers who in true talent show style tell a sob story but with a twist - they express it through dance.

After the nine Hungarian entertainers, called Attraction, finish their piece, a moved Amanda dabs at her eyes.
She tells them: ‘My goodness. I actually can’t speak. I found that just so emotional and touching. You just made me really think about everything. It was amazing.’
Fellow judge Alesha Dixon, who managed to withhold from crying more than Amanda last year, is equally as impressed.

Funnyman David is perhaps a little more reserved with his feelings, telling them: ‘Guys it was absolutely faultless.’

‘Guys I just want to say thank you actually for coming over to enter this competition. I’m always very flattered when people from other countries want to compete on this show and it is one of the best acts I’ve ever seen in terms of originality and it was very touching.’
Aside from the obligatory tears from Amanda, it looks like there’s going to be a few laughs, as Simon will be hauled on stage for a raunchy striptease during the episode.
Other acts that will be gracing TV screens include a mother and daughter country singing duo, who look like they may draw a few buzzes.
