It takes two! Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa Minnillo juggle baby Camden and their luggage at the airport
For Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, even a trip out of town requires military precision.
Now that they are parents to a bouncing baby boy, it definitely took teamwork just to board a flight on time out of Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday.
Nick, 39, seemed to have his coordination skills in tune as he helped unload the car of all their luggage, not to mention their seven-month-old son Camden who was cosy in his pram.
Leaving town: Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa
Minnillo, with baby Camden in tow, put on quite a juggling act getting
to the gate on time at LAX on Thursday
When most of the larger bags had been checked with the porter, Nick and Vanessa finally were able to make their way to the gate.
Nick carried their carry-on and wore a large knapsack over his shoulder, while Vanessa pushed the pram.
Frequent flyer: Vanessa cradled Camden, seven months, and lulled him back to sleep
Lift off: Nick carefully and gently moved his son from car seat to pram
She's got muscle: The 32-year-old mother took over and placed the carrier on wheels
Vanessa was likewise in travel-mode, clad in jeans, white long-sleeved top and sandals, along with a light-coloured scarf wrapped around her neck.
Obviously the pair, who wed in July 2011 and welcomed their first child in September 2012, have this down pat by now.
Baby comes first: The 98 Degrees singer made
sure Camden was cosy and secure in his pram before seeing to the rest of
the luggage
In charge: The first-time mother was the boss when it came to directing her helpers with the luggage
Not so simple: Things are definitely more
complicated when travelling with a baby, but Vanessa seemed to have
everything under control
The 98 Degrees singer recently revealed that he and Vanessa plan on leaving Los Angeles for good to set up house in Nick's hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The reason being that they want to give their son 'the most normal childhood he can have,'
Last minute check: Vanessa made sure they had everything they needed for boarding
Got it covered: While his wife rummaged through the carry-on, Nick handled the larger pieces
Almost there: There wasn't a trace of fatigue on her face as Vanessa pushed the stroller through the terminal
Nick indicated that the move to the Midwest will likely happen within the next few years.
'I really value the effect that family has on child growing up. I want Camden and other future kids we have to be around their cousins and their grandparents.'
And Vanessa's just fine with it too.
Checking in: Nick oversaw the paperwork and the baggage check in
I got you babe: Camden was a calm observer throughout the whole thing
Nick, who dedicated an album to Camden called A Father's Lullaby, is also looking forward to the release of 98 Degree's new album 2.0 on May 7.
This summer, Nick will be busy hitting the road with 98 Degrees on The Package Tour with New Kids On The Block and Boyz II Men, and Camden - and presumably Vanessa - will join him.
On the move: Nick has revealed that he and
Vanessa plan on moving to his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, so Camden
can have a normal upbringing
