Gillian Anderson steals the show at culinary gala as she vamps it up in black bustier dress


She's kept a relatively low profile over the last few years, taking a number of supporting roles in film and TV.
But Gillian Anderson proved that she's ready to reclaim her leading lady mantle as she stole the limelight at a dinner at Old Billingsgate on Monday night.
Wearing a black AW13 Safiyaa dress, with a provocative split up the front, the 44-year-old ensured that all eyes were on her, as she gears up to hit screens again.

The US star, whose new BBC drama The Fall kicks off next month, certainly made an impact at the Relais & Chateaux: Dîner des Grands Chefs event, opting for all-out glamour.
Obviously not in the mood for blending in, Gillian decided on the sophisticated but decidedly sultry outfit, which created an hourglass effect, despite her svelte frame.
She paired the skirt, which trailed along the floor, with towering black open-toe shoes and a small black fur-trimmed handbag.

Joined by husband Richard Jones, the singer matched a pair of gold metallic stilettos with a stand-out gold handbag, which had the words 'I love, I hate' emblazoned across the front.
Raymond Blanc also participated in the event, which saw a team of acclaimed Grand Chefs pool their culinary talents to create 15 unique five-course menus.
