As the host of Extra, Maria Menounos spends her days talking about other stars in the spotlight.
But on Saturday night, it was clear that she was ready for her time to shine.
The 34-year-old arrived to the 2013 GLAAD Awards in Los Angeles wearing a couture piece worthy of Lady Gaga.

A futuristic, three-dimensional black collar stood up around the television personality's neck.
Similarly, the dress took shoulder pads to a new level.

Clinging close to her body was a mini skirt under the sheer overlay, allowing her toned, long legs to be on display.
Ankle-strap, peep-toe black heels and a silver ashlyn'd clutch rounded out the host-turned-author's Back To The Future look.

She also gave a shout out to Greymer for her shoes and Ilja Couture for her dress - who, coincidentally, also designed a dress for Lady Gaga.
Gaga's dress also had the 3-D shoulders and collar, as well as the low-high hem of the gown.

Britain's most famous aristocratic supermodel Stella Tennant has died at the age of 50, just months after splitting from her husband. Her family praised her as a 'wonderful woman and an inspiration to us all' in a statement which confirmed her 'sudden death' yesterday. A 15-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly penetrating two 12-year-olds and possessing child pornography of the preteen girls.  The boy appeared before Kalgoorlie Children's Court on Thursday after allegedly filming a sex act in the town of Goldfields in Kalgoorie, Western Australia, in October last year.
