Once the queen of US sitcoms, Mary Tyler Moore is rarely seen in public these days.
But yesterday the 76-year-old actress was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport.
The star of 1960s and 1970s shows, who had brain surgery to remove a tumour two years ago, looked frail as she was helped through the airport terminal.
Unrecognisable: Glamorous actress Mary Tyler Moore in 1970, left, and now in 2013, right
Three-times married Miss Tyler Moore rose to prominence in The Dick Van Dyke Show, which ran between 1961 and 1966.
Her popularity later saw Mary land her own sitcom in 1970 as a single woman pursuing her own career in the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
She portrayed a single, successful woman in her 30s in The Mary Tyler Moore Show from 1970 to 1977, paving the way for comedies such as Sex And The City.
She also founded MTM Enterprises, which produced TV hits such as Hill Street Blues and St Elsewhere.
While Mary has never publicly admitted to having had plastic surgery, she is rumoured to have had several facelifts, a nose job and a lip augmentation.
And despite the skin on her neck looking wrinkly, Mary's face was tight in contrast.
