Barry Morphew prosecutors claim to have evidence on iPhones, kindles and a SPY PEN that proves he killed missing wife Suzanne - as judge denies him bail
A judge sealed Colorado husband Barry Morphew's arrest affidavit despite the media's pleas to make it public and denied Morphew bond on charges of murdering his missing wife Suzanne.
Suzanne Morphew vanished in May 2020 and has not been seen since. At the time, her husband, Barry, made an emotional plea for her return. Her bicycle was found discarded next to a trail.
Barry was charged with murder in May 2021. He has not yet entered a plea and the case remains largely shrouded in mystery because the judge won't unseal Morphew's 130-page arrest affidavit.
At a discovery hearing on Wednesday, prosecutors and Morphew's lawyer and prosecutors discussed evidence that will be presented.
It includes a spy pen, laptops, iPhones and an Amazon Kindle.

The prosecution plans to present 14 witnesses at trial, according to Morphew's attorney Iris Eytan who on Wednesday asked the judge to grant him bail and reduce the first-degree murder charge against him to a second-degree murder charge.
Spy pens are used to secretly record people. It's unclear how they were used in the Morphew case
The judge denied bond and didn't make a decision on the charges.
Both sides now have several days to prepare for the next hearing, which is yet to be scheduled.
Morphew was not present in court but he listened via a WebEx link.
Judge Patrick Murphy ruled that future hearings would not take place on the video conference service.
It's unclear if that is due to the fact that COVID-19 restrictions have been mostly lifted and in-person hearings will resume.
Murphy earlier this week denied a motion by a group of media outlets to unseal Morphew's arrest affidavit.
The judge said he wanted to give both attorneys enough time to submit possible redactions.
The couple have two daughters who are in their late teens and early 20s.
