Urgent warning for Aldi shoppers as a vacuum cleaner is recalled over fears it could burst into flames
An urgent recall has been announced for the Aldi Easy Home Multicyclonic Vacuum Cleaner over risks of it bursting into flames.
The product was sold at Aldi in all states and territories except Tasmania and the NT from February 5 to March 3 this year, and again from September 5 to December 9.

'If a fire occurs, there is a risk of damage to property, serious injury to the user and other household occupants,' the notice says.
The vacuum cleaners subject to the recall have a rating label with the following serial numbers: 'BVC-KPA24 / 700175' or 'VCK24 / 702119'.
Customers who purchased the product can return it to any Aldi store for a full refund.
