Sydney is is rocked by two drive-by shootings in one night - one at a house with three kids inside - as a white Audi is found burnt out near the scene
Three children have escaped injury after being inside a home that was sprayed with bullets during a crime spree which involved another shooting hours earlier.
Officers were called to Kirk Avenue in Guildford, western Sydney, just before 10pm on Tuesday after shots rang out and found damage to the house.
Witnesses reported seeing a white Audi 4WD leaving the area around the time of the incident - which was later found burnt out in the nearby suburb of Chester Hill.
Along with the three children, two adults were also in the house, with all five being uninjured.

Earlier on Tuesday night police were called to a similar incident at Aubrey Street in South Granville, also in western Sydney, at about 7.10pm.
Residents reported hearing shots fired and officers canvassed the area, finding damage to one house, with witnesses saying a blue Audi was seen leaving the area.
Two men were inside the house but were uninjured.
The blue Audi was also later found on fire in John Street, South Granville - with witnesses saying men were seen setting the car alight and then driving away in a silver Mitsubishi 4WD.
Police were again called to South Granville shortly after amid a fight breaking out between two men after crash between a white 4WD and a silver Mitsubishi Pajero.
The Mitsubishi was later found on McArthur Street in Merrylands - with police believing the three incidents are linked.
A 27-year-old was arrested in Merrylands and charged with shoot with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (accessory after the fact), common assault, and traffic offences.
He was refused bail to front Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
Police will allege the Mitsubishi was also used in the South Granville shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
