A man was killed and a woman injured in a double stabbing at a property in North Yorkshire yesterday morning.
North Yorkshire Police received a report of an altercation in a flat in Selby at around 8.45am.
When officers arrived, they found a man with life-threatening injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics, but was pronounced dead soon after.

A woman present also sustained an injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

It is unclear if he was related to the victims and neither his nor their identities have been made public.
