Mar-a-Lago hosts packed mask-free ball for pro-Trump group Turning Point USA with Kayleigh McEnany the selfie star of the night - and Roger Stone and MyPillow CEO Michael Lindell making appearances

President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago hosted a packed, mask free ball for Turning Point USA, a pro-Trump youth group where Kayleigh McEnany, Roger Stone and the CEO of MyPillow were the stars of the night.

Laura Ingraham, Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and Trump campaign spokesman Hogan Gidley were also at Friday's black-tie event, according to pictures posted to social media.  Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell and former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski were also there.

Turning Point USA, a popular group with conservative college students, hosts an annual conference in Palm Beach, Florida, every December, around the time President Trump leaves the White House to spend the holidays at his Mar-a-Lago private club.

President Trump addressed the group last year but he has yet to depart Washington D.C. this year as he seeks a way to overturn the results of November's presidential election.

His eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., and Kimberly Guilfoyle addressed the students as did many other conservative stars, including Fox News host Tucker Carlson and former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka.

Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to speak with them on Tuesday, the last day of the five-day event.

The conference typically includes a posh party at the Winter White House.

Photos posted on social media show a crowded ballroom at Mar-a-Lago with nary a face mask in sight, which would be a violation of COVID-19 protocols.

Palm Beach County officials extended an order mandating the wearing of facial coverings in all businesses, establishments, and in public spaces as coronavirus cases are on the rise throughout the country.

Two tickets to the fundraising dinner cost $10,000, according to the group, and the gala was sold out.

Turning Point USA did not respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment.

The Florida Department of Health reported 8,401 new coronavirus cases on Sunday. The state has 1,201,566 cases and 20,861 total deaths.

McEnany, the White House press secretary; My Pillow CEO Mike J. Lindell; and the other conservative stars posed for many a selfie, which the students posted online.

Lindell told DailyMail.com he only stopped by the gala long enough to eat dinner and pose for some photos.

He suggested writing 'the real story of the fraudulent election and getting voting machines out there so people can see.'

He dismissed concerns about the coronavirus vaccine, calling it the 'China virus,' which is how President Trump refers to it. Trump also has refused to concede the election to Joe Biden, who won both the electoral college and popular vote.

McEnany did not respond to a request for comment.

Photos from Mar-a-Lago show a ballroom with tables of 10 crowded next to one another, making the six feet of social distancing impossible.

Guests posed for pics in the ballroom, around the swimming pool, on the white marble stairs, and in front of a Turning Point sign.

The group's conference also ran into some hiccups when several hundred attendees were turned away from the Palm Beach County Convention Center with county officials citing overcrowding.

Palm Beach County officials blamed organizers for overselling the event.

Lindell told DailyMail.com there was plenty of room inside the convention center and blamed officials for turning students away.

He was one of the many group speakers who went outside to address those who couldn't get into the convention center.

'I went out there Saturday night - 1,000 or 1,500 people trying to get in. I spent a few hours out there, talking and taking pictures,' he said. 'I just felt bad for them.'

Donald Trump Jr went outside with a bullhorn to talk to the crowd as did Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

The blame game went back-and-forth between county officials and Turning Point's team.

County Administrator Verdenia Baker said Turning Point had 'oversold their contract capacity by 500-600 people,' a local CBS station reported.

She said 'the Convention Center is adhering to the contractual agreement with Turing Point of a 2,000 person capacity; this leaves 500-600 people unable to enter the Convention Center.'

But Turning Point COO Tyler Bowyer denied there were capacity restrictions in the group's contract with the county, citing their original agreement.

He charged Palm Beach County officials with going beyond the 50 per cent capacity restrictions currently in place due to COVID.
