Man is stabbed to death in a bloody fight outside a Hungry Jacks in Melbourne

A man has died after being stabbed during a fight outside a Hungry Jacks outlet in Melbourne.

Police were called to the fast food outlet on the Western Highway in Caroline Springs shortly after 9.10pm on Monday after reports of a fight. 

The injured man was treated by paramedics but he died at the scene.

Police arrested a man nearby who is assisting police with their inquiries.

Detectives set up a crime scene and appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the brawl or with information to come forward.
