A worker at Sydney airport who had his hours slashed due to the coronavirus pandemic has won a whopping $1.2million on the lottery.
The man, from Bexley in Sydney's south, held one of the five division one winning entries in the Saturday Lotto draw on October 10.
The worker said he was shocked when he was contacted by Lottery officials with the life-changing news on Monday.

'I had no idea. I hadn't checked my ticket yet. I play every week, and I never thought I'd win that much. The most I've ever won is $1000,' he told The Lott.
'I work at the airport, and since COVID-19 I've only been able to work one or two days a week, which has been hard.'
Since his hours were cut the airport worker had been struggling to pay off his mortgage.
'I'll be able to pay off the mortgage and not have to stress about work while I wait for things to get back to normal,' he said.
'It's so good! Such a relief!'
The winner was one of five people who shared the jackpot on Saturday, each winning $1,292,740.18.
He has chosen to remain anonymous but purchased his 24-game QuickPick entry at his local shop, Bexley Newsagency in Sydney's South.

Bexley Newsagency owner Mohammad Rafiqul Islam was over the moon when he found out he sold a history-making division one prize.
'It's a very exciting moment for us because this is the first time we've sold a division one winning entry since we took over the store in June 2019,' he said.
'We've decorated the store with balloons and posters, and we've been telling all of our customers. They are definitely very happy for us.'
In the last financial year the Saturday Lotto created 127 millionaires across the country.
