Will demure Keira Knightley dare to walk down the aisle in an outlandish creation by designer Pam Hogg?
Keira, 28, is due to marry Klaxons frontman James Righton this year, and Pam reveals that the Hollywood star is among her fans.
Last year, Pam made a bizarre wedding gown for Lady Mary Charteris, which featured sheer fabric and some strategically placed panels to preserve her modesty.
‘After the service everyone wanted
me to do their wedding dress and they all came up to me and said they
loved it,’ said Pam last week.
‘Keira was on the dancefloor and she was like, “Wow, that is the best dress. When I get married, I want one like that.” She said it was one of the most beautiful dresses she had ever seen.’
If only there were such a thing as a
Tardis. Actor John Hurt was forced to leave a dinner party held in his
honour early last week so that he could dash to Cardiff to film the
much-hyped 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who.
Hurt, who surprisingly has never been knighted, was presented with a Cultural Honour Award by Liberatum founder Pablo Ganguli earlier in the evening.
Still maintaining a hectic schedule at the age of 73, Hurt admits his hellraising days are far behind him.
‘I’m not drinking to celebrate my award,’ he said. ‘I’m due on the Doctor Who set at 8.15am.’

The
50th anniversary special of Doctor Who later this year may star his
friend John Hurt, but actor Steven Berkoff won’t be watching.
Despite appearing in the BBC series himself last year, Berkoff never tunes in to see the hit sci-fi series.
‘I would not waste one thousandth of a second watching such lovely, charming, sweet entertainment.
'I want passion and ideas. As good as it might be, I can’t watch naff.’
