Domestic duo! Emily VanCamp and boyfriend Josh Bowman

They live in a tangled web of secrets on their hit show Revenge, but in real life Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman lead a relaxed lifestyle.
The duo appeared perfectly content to go grocery shopping together in Hollywood, California on Saturday, as many of their peers partied at Coachella music festival in Palm Springs.
Josh, 25, showed off his muscles by carrying their paper bag full of purchases with one arm, as his 26-year-old girlfriend played book keeper, handling the cash and receipt in her left hand.

Feeling comfortable with each other, the twosome dressed down for their trip to the store.
Emily donned a taupe zip-up sweater over a grey tee that she paired with cuffed skinny denim trousers and converse sneakers.
Her blonde locks were casually pulled back into a loose bun and she appeared to be make-up free underneath her jet black sunglasses.

'When I take off my makeup, that's my boyfriend's favorite,' Emily told magazine in its January/February issue.
'And that, to me, is a symbol of a great guy – someone who doesn't care about all that [glamorous] stuff.'
The Canadian-native discovered this quality about Josh when she was on a fishing trip with him and his father in England.

'I was there in my baseball cap and these crappy fishing clothes,' Emily explained.
'And I remember thinking, this is when I feel 100 percent comfortable – in these dirty clothes with fish guts all over them.
'I know it sounds horrendous. I'm at my most confident when I'm in nature and I don't have to dress up.'

Make-up free? Emily appeared to be barefaced underneath her sunglasses, which wouldn't have been a surprise because she previously said, 'When I take off my makeup, that's my boyfriend's favorite'

Josh opted for simple attire on Saturday as well, donning a light blue button-down blouse, dark denim trousers and worn-in chocolate boat shoes.
Like his other half, he also concealed his eyes with a pair of jet black sunglasses.
The couple have been dating for about two years.
