Neil Patrick Harris gets some help with his quickly growing twins

When children hit the terrible twos, there can never be enough helping hands.
Now that Gideon and Harper Grace – the twins born by surrogate to Neil Patrick Harris and longtime partner David Burtka in October, 2010 – are racing around, they are enough to keep a roomful of adults busy.
And so it seems the couple has brought on a young woman to help.

As the How I Met Your Mother star tried to hail a cab in New York City Friday, the woman held Harper in her arms and kept Gideon safe.
Harris, 39, was initially rumoured to have broken up with Burtka in February.
According to a story in the National Enquirer, the pair – who have been partners for years – had a big spat that caused them to break off their engagement.

Harris denied the two had broken up and tweeted ‘We’ve never had a wedding date, just engaged (Prop 8 and all). We’re on a cruise as I write. He’s rad. All good.’
Although Burtka wasn’t on hand for Friday's outing, he and Harris were seen together a day earlier at The Center Dinner 2013 Gala.
Harris tweeted earlier in the week about David, ‘He is the most magnificent man in the whole world!’
