She's about to start the promo tour for her new film, so it's no surprise that she's getting in some relaxation time while she can.
A-lister Katherine Heigl treated herself to a sunshine holiday in Mexico at the weekend with a group of girlfriends, before the madness begins.
Spending Sunday at the beach, the 34-year-old slipped into a floral bikini as she played around in the sea with her pals, seeming completely carefree.

The actress had clearly left her husband and two children at home for the weekend, treating herself to a little alone time with her friends.

Katherine, who is about to start promoting new film The Big Wedding, embraced her fun-loving side as she ran around the beach with her pals.
She accentuated her curvaceous figure with a push-up, halterneck bikini top but covered up the matching bottoms with a white beach skirt.

Perhaps not completely confident about her beach body, the 27 Dresses star felt he need to hide the top of her long legs with the white cover-up.
But the actress seemed in great spirits, grinning as she wandered around the Los Cabos resort with her friends, clearly feeling refreshed thanks to her downtime.
She went completely make-up free for her beach day and scraped back her bright blonde hair into a bun, covering it with a fedora-style hat.

Family at home: Katherine left her husband and two little ones at home, deciding to spend the weekend with girlfriends

The Grey's Anatomy star let all of her Twitter followers know just how she was spending her weekend, clearly having a great time on her holiday;
'Enjoying a girls weekend in Mexico!!! Sun, sea and margaritas!,' she wrote from her plush Los Cabos resort.
The trailer for Katherine's new romantic comedy premiered last week and in the flick, based on the 2006 French film Mon frère se marie, a long-divorced couple fakes being married as their family unites for a wedding.
The Big Wedding, due out April 26, also stars Robert De Niro, Robin Williams, Diane Keaton, Susan Sarandon, and Amanda Seyfried.
And Katherine will be flying to New Orleans next month to begin shooting the dark comedy North Of Hell alongside Patrick Wilson.
