Arnie would be proud! Patrick Schwarzenegger

When it comes to staying in shape, Patrick Schwarzenegger tends to take a leaner approach than his father.
The 19 year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver hit the popular sets of stairs in Santa Monica on Monday morning with two buddies, maintaining the lean figure he showed off on the beach in Maui a few weeks before.
The adolescent workout crew all wore nearly identical white T-shirts, black shorts and tennis shoes.

Schwarzenegger and his team ran loops up and down the steep stairs.
The black and white workout crew then did push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups, a leaner approach to staying in shape rather than pumping iron, as was famously documented by his bodybuilding father when he was 19.
The third youngest out of four children from the Schwarzenegger-Shriver marriage, Patrick is currently finishing up his freshman year at USC.

Patrick recently returned from a family vacation in Maui with new 19-year-old girlfriend Taylor 'Tootsie' Burns, where he showed off a leaner chiseled beach body.
The young Schwarzenegger is also trying to his hand at acting, taking his first steps towards following in his father's large film footsteps.
While he made a brief appearance in the Adam Sandler film Benchwarmers at age 13, Patrick has a much more significant part in the upcoming Grown Ups 2, starring Sandler and funnyman Kevin James. 
In the summer comedy sequel, due out July 12, he acts alongside teen heart throb Taylor Lautner playing a frat boy named Cooper, a role he may know intimately after his first year at USC.

This past Easter weekend also marked the first time Patrick's estranged parents reunited in more than a year.
Arnold, the 65 year-old actor and ex-governor, and Maria, the 57 year-old writer and activist, put their differences aside so the family could have Easter dinner together at Shutters on the beach in Santa Monica.
Patrick joined his parents for the meal with older sisters Katherine, 23, and Christina, 21.
Arnold and Maria left in separate cars.
