Double the load! Pregnant Busy Philipps carries daughter Birdie
She is due to give birth in June but her growing stomach did not stop her from carrying out existing mothering duties.
Busy Philipps was spotted carrying her three-year-old daughter Birdie on Saturday despite her huge bump seeming to get in the way.
The 33-year-old blonde, who married screenwriter Marc Silverstein in 2007, wore a stripy top which made her big belly even more prominent.
However she showed no sign of being tired as she endured the family outing, and happily picked up her youngster.
The actress donned with her casual attire of jeans and flat pink pumps, a leopard print cardigan which brings to mind her wild character Laurie Keller on the comedy series Cougar Town.
She also didn’t seem to mind lugging her own handbag as well as several as her child’s belongings while her spouse walked ahead after they attended a birthday party in Hollywood, California.
This is Busy's second child with her husband Marc.
On December 10, 2012, she
announced via Twitter that she is pregnant with her second child,
showing a picture of her positive pregnancy test.
Busy is also godmother to Matilda Rose, her former Dawson’s Creek co-star Michelle William's seven-year-old daughter with late actor Heath Ledger.
Earlier this year she admitted to Conan O'Brien that she taxed the wardrobe department on her hit show Cougar Town after discovering she was pregnant with her second child.
Busy revealed that she
ballooned during filming of the current season of the show, which has
just moved from ABC to cable channel TBS.
'They grew three times as big,' she told the flame-haired presenter.
The bubbly blonde also opened up on Good Morning America about embracing her growing curves -- especially when it comes to being a good role model to her four-year-old daughter Birdie.
'I think it's so hard as a woman to give yourself a break,' Busy said on the show back in January.
'It's great to be healthy but you have to set a good example for your kids and know that it's not about a number on a scale but how you feel.'
