Charlotte Church has done Wizard of Oz style as she continues to dress
to the extreme in daring stage outfits for her live performances.The
27-year-old singer was on stage at London's G-A-Y when she wore a shiny
emerald coloured outfit that wouldn't look a-miss in the recent Oz the
Great & Powerful film.
The Welsh songstress looks like she could have raided the wardrobe of Evanora - the character played by Rachel Weisz in the fantasy film - while performing at the weekend.
Taking to the stage at the
London venue, Charlotte dazzled in her shining full length emerald
coloured dress, complete with ruffled shoulders, to the delight of her
fans.
Continuing the wild style, Chaz gave her hair a back-comb and drew attention to her eyes with shimmering eye make-up.
With her voice soaring above the audience, the singer reportedly brought the house down with her incredibly powerful voice proving she hasn't lost the talents that made her a star.
She was performing at the venue in support of her recent EP release, titled Two, and whipped her fans into a frenzy before event entering the venue with a pre gig tweet reading 'In London for G-A-Y HEAVEN tonight... who's coming to the gig? See you later xx'.
The singer - who shot to fame
as a child star in the 90s, finding herself performing for the Queen and
Bill Clinton - released her first pop album, Tissues and Issues in 2005
but took a break from music in 2006 to focus on motherhood and her
television show, The Charlotte Church Show.
She returned to music in 2011 with a 'more mature' sounding album titled Back to Scratch and has recently been rebuilding her music career with the release of EP records, One, and Two.
Her weekend get up is just the latest ambitious outfit the star has worn as she works to relaunch her music career, and last month she took to the South by Southwest festival wearing a number of impressively Avant-garde outfits with ruffles a plenty, feathered head pieces and unusual stencil-style make-up.
