My Girl to become a mother! Former child star Anna Chlumsky

She was the adorable little girl who became a screen icon through her role alongside Macaulay Culkin in 1991 movie My Girl.
Now Anna Chlumsky, 32, and her husband Shaun So are set to become parents for the first time.
The grown-up star confirmed the happy news toPeople magazine on Wednesday.

She said that so far her pregnancy has been smooth sailing.  
'I’m feeling pretty good so far,' she told People magazine.
'I was really lucky — I did not have any morning sickness which was great because I was working.'

 

Baby makes three: Anna and her husband Shaun So will welcome their first child later this year

The actress, who currently stars in the hit HBO TV show Veep, will be keeping the baby's sex a secret until he or she's arrives later this year.
With her series recently wrapping the first season, the pretty star and her husband are now focusing on prepping for their first child.
'we’re working on getting the nursery ready,' she said.

'I’m being judicious with which books I read because I don’t want to get overwhelmed. Most of the books have to do with how to have a worry-free pregnancy and keep the anxiety down.'
Anna's series, which premiered on HBO last year and in the UK on Sky Atlantic in June 2012, is loosely based on BBC series The Thick Of It.
It tells the story of Senator Selina Meyer's run as Vice President of the United States.
Louis-Dreyfus plays the central role of Vice President Selina Meyer, while Chlumsky plays her Chief of Staff, Amy Brookheimer.
Anna has kept her hand in acting over the years, with parts in Law & Order and White Collar to name a few.

She also managed to get a degree under her belt, graduating from the University of Chicago in 2002.
In 2007 she announced her engagement to Shaun So, an Army reserve member who served in Afghanistan, before the pair married the following year.
Around the time she explained: 'Shaun's family is Chinese, and my family is Catholic. So we're going to do a fusion of the two cultural traditions.'
