being a groupie! Lindsay Lohan strikes a cool

She’s got a thing for musicians - and isn’t afraid to show it.

And on Tuesday Lindsay Lohan made the most of being a rock star’s girlfriend as she tweeted a picture of herself backstage at a gig.

The 26-year-old actress posted a snap of herself holding a Yamaha guitar, which is thought to belong to her new beau, City Of The Sun lead guitarist Avi Snow.

In the picture, the star does her best to channel a band member as she dons a casual Nike sweater with black skinny jeans.

But showing off many bangles on her tattooed arms and sporting long ringlets in her golden hair, the star can’t tone down all the glamour with her enhanced lips very noticeable.
On the right side of the snap, the group’s guitarist John Pita can be seen socialising in the hallway, much to their amusement.

After Lindsay posted the photograph on the micro-blogging website saying, ‘Nice’, the band replied making reference to his inclusion, ‘John's accidental photobomb.’
Avi recently told E! News about his partner: ‘She's really awesome, and she's a lot of fun. I would definitely call her one of our biggest supporters.'
Avi's comments come after Lindsay was seen kissing her new love at the weekend during their show at the 41 Ocean club, in Santa Monica.
The pair's relationship is still said to be in the 'early stages' but Lindsay's friends and family are said to think that Avi is a good influence on the actress. 
A friend of the musician told MailOnline: 'Avi's not a feckless party animal, he works in that industry, sure, but he's got a good head on his shoulders.

He's from a solid background and doesn't get involved with the drugs scene, he doesn't even drink much... basically, he knows who is and likes control, he could help Lindsay.'
However, it remains to be seen just how Avi's relationship with Lindsay will be affected when the star checks in to lockdown rehab within the next month and a half.
For violating her probation by lying to police as to who was driving her car when she had an accident, Lindsay avoided a 180 day jail term but instead reached a plea deal where she will now have to complete 90 days in an inpatient rehabilitation facility, 30 days of community labour and 18 months of psychiatric treatment.
