She's normally seen looking the picture of elegance at showbiz bashes on the red carpet.
But Padma Lakshmi showed her sporty side on Wednesday night when she sat court side at a basketball match.
The TV chef couldn't contain her excitement as she watched the New York Knicks take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 42-year-old was an animated picture as she threw her hands up and screamed as they scored once more.
Padma took her seat still looking stylish for the sporting match.
She went for an all blue ensemble in electric blue skinny jeans with a lighter blue jumper to match.

The author completed her chic basketball look with a pair of leopard print heels, while she wore her hair half up with her fringe down.
She accessorised with long earrings and carried a drink in her hand as she watched the tough game unfold.
Eventually watching the Knicks win 108-101, Padma looked like the most animated crowd member as she showed her excitement.

Although at one point in the tense game she gritted her teeth as she fully threw herself in to it.
Padma wasn't the only star supporting the team as Howard Stern and his wife were also present, as was funnyman Chris Rock, who sat next to the radio host.
Howard looked like he was enjoying himself as he joked around with his wife and even took pictures on his smartphone of them at the match.

Lakshmi was recently rumoured to be dating high-flying hotelier Vikram Chatwal.
It was reported that a romance between the pair was 'blossoming', but earlier this month, the Top Chef host insisted that she was still waiting for Mr Right.

A keen basketball fan, she was first linked to him when they were seen sitting court side together at another game.
