The Los Angeles luxury penthouse, once owned by the founders of Mattell - including the famous doll inspiration Barbara 'Barbie' Segal - has gone on the market for $10 million.
With its three bedrooms and three bathrooms, the condo in the sought-after Century Towers has been enjoyed by interior designer Nicole Sassaman since 2012 when she bought the property for $2 million.
According to Ms Sassaman's website, the interior has undergone a complete refurbishment of her own doing, with the interior designed to reflect the property's previous owner's history, with a modern twist.

Ms Sassaman 'felt it only right to honor such a legend throughout the redesign of the space,' her website says.
The penthouse perhaps reflects the direction in which modern Barbie has gone in, and is far from what someone might consider to be 'classic' Barbie.
Instead of pink plastic filling the space as one might expect, the chic place is as modern as they come, using darker more neutral colours.

According to her website, 'Nicole started from scratch and removed every wall and window to give the space a fresh look and feel. The results were equal parts sophistication and fun.'

The owner of the penthouse will also have access to some luxurious amenities including a dog park, a pool, tennis courts, valet parking and a concierge - to name a few - everything an aspiring Barbie could expect
