Skateboarder Terry Kennedy, 36, could face murder charges after friend, 23, that he 'beat in a motel' dies from his injuries
Famous skateboarder Terry Kennedy could be about to face charges of manslaughter or murder after a man he allegedly attacked died.
Kennedy was arrested last week after what cops said was an attack on 23-year-old Josiah Kassahun at the Oakbrook Terrace motel near Chicago.
Josiah was left with a fractured skull and a concussion. He passed away on Saturday according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Kennedy was arrested and charged with aggravated battery in a public place and threatening a public official but is now likely to face murder or manslaughter charges
Kennedy had initially appeared in court on Wednesday and charged with assault with bail set at $100,000. The 36-year-old skater is still behind bars.
Prosecutors will likely be considering upgrading the charges to those of manslaughter or murder.
Kennedy had also been booked for repeatedly threatening to murder the cops who tracked him down following the alleged attack on Josiah according to TMZ.
'I will kill one of you police. We kill police where I'm from,' Kennedy is alleged to have told police.
He was facing aggravated battery in a public place and threatening a public official for his behavior.

'Josiah was and will always be remembered as the perfect friend to everyone who had the good fortune of meeting him. He was loved and had much love to give and he will be dearly missed by an infinite number of people,' wrote Kassahun's family in a GoFundMe online.
A friend, Austin DePiano, paid tribute to Kassahun in an Instagram post.
'No ones ever pushed me like you have and brought people together in such a positive way. You made sure no one was ever in a corner alone and we're gonna do the same now. Were gonna keep pushing for you and do everything you wanted to see us do because thats all you wanted was for your friends to do good,' he wrote.
Kennedy is one of the most famous figures in the skating world and appears in the 'skating' video game franchise and music videos for Snoop Dog and Mistah Fab.
He has appeared in various MTV shows together with Bam Margera and Rob Dyrdek.
